Dear Faculty, Students, Alums, and Friends of Mason,
What is in YOUR attic…could it be an unused clarinet, trombone, or sax left from your marching band days? Your great-aunt's violin? Turn past into present by participating in Instruments in the Attic.
Instruments in the Attic is a new TAX-DEDUCTIBLE INSTRUMENT DONATION PROGRAM at George Mason University. Its goal is twofold:
All instruments, new and used, or needing repair, are gladly accepted and may be donated for Mason's music students.
Research shows a strong correlation between vibrant school music education programs and solid academic achievement. Our area school districts have made a commitment to ensure that music remains a core element in the total curriculum. Mason music grads (45% of the region's music teachers) have become critical to the success of our area school music programs.
For continued success, our students need your help.
When you donate an instrument through Instruments in the Attic, you contribute:
Join us to make a difference in the lives of our students and community.
